The 15 boasts solid mid-range load capacity coupled with the versatility of a classic Canadian canoe. At just 35 lbs in Carbon Fusion portaging is a breeze!

Awesome lightweight and manoeuvrable
We bought this boat because we wanted something more versatile for single and tandem paddling, and needed a boat that was easier to load and unload on a pickup truck rooftop rack. The carbon fusion Prospector 15 is awesome. It is super responsive and easy to paddle solo using the kneeling thwart, and it handles a moderate load well when paddling tandem. It’s well balanced and easy to portage too. Swift suggested using a foam yoga mat in the bottom of the canoe for the dog (golden retriever), and it’s great for the dog, and to kneel on when paddling solo… The prospector 15 is a beautiful boat, and the build quality of our custom order was great.
Stunning Prospector 15
Can’t say enough good things about our Prospector 15, and the Swift Canoe staff! Carbon expedition finish with cherrywood trim -gorgeous and weighs in at just over 40lbs. Handles beautifully as tandem or solo paddle. Looking forward to many years of use!
Perfect Prospector 15
Without a doubt this is the finest canoe I have ever had and in my view, the best on the market! We have enjoyed taking it on portaging trips as well as day tripping. It’s such a smooth paddle, handles incredibly on rough water and looks amazing to boot! Wish I’d had this canoe 40 years ago!
Prospector 15 - Beautiful boat for beautiful places...
I have never been happier with a canoe. I am mostly a solo paddler… I’m happy to be on the water with it; I’m happy to be cleaning it when it’s in my shed. It’s easy to maneuver and moves quietly through the water…I’m as happy to let the wind push me down a lake as I am to paddle back across the wind…every minute in this boat is a pleasure.
