This is definitely a paddler's canoe.
The Dragonfly is a niche boat. it’s the fastest, driest, and most maneuverable solo canoe I have ever paddled. It is round on the bottom and a little twitchy. but as my daughter says, “I love this boat so much after I’m in it.” Getting in and out on a muddy stream bank requires some gymnastic abilities. 🙂 If you have any experience in solo canoes, you would love this as a second boat for when you want a little more speed and maneuverability. There really is nothing like it. I also own a Northstar Phoenix, and I often paddle that when the water’s cold and I want a little more stabiity, I just sacrifice the Dragonfly’s speed.
I had a cover installed from Red Leaf Designs. Great addition!
